MAINTENANCE UPDATE MAY 2025

Here’s your latest update on what’s been happening around the urbanisation this past month. Our goal, as always, is to keep Mijas La Nueva looking its best and functioning smoothly for everyone who calls it home.

Lower pool is now open – 

We’re delighted to let you know that the Lower Pool is officially open and ready to be enjoyed by friends and families throughout the summer. A big thank you for your patience while we took the time to ensure everything was just right.
From repainting the depth markers to making sure all restroom doors, showers, and lifebuoys are in perfect working order, it’s the little details that help make our urbanisation feel well-maintained and loved.

Tennis court garden tidy-up – 

The garden area surrounding the tennis court received a thorough tidy this month, bringing fresh life and a clean, welcoming look to one of our favourite shared spaces.

Fresh parking lines around the MLN office 

If you’ve stopped by the MLN office recently, you may have noticed the newly painted parking bay lines. This small upgrade adds clarity and order to a well-used area of our community.

Quick response! Every time!

Our dedicated maintenance team continues to respond swiftly to resident requests and unexpected issues. This month, they:

• Fix of faulty streetlights (a council matter)
• Safely removed a snake
• Repaired a water leak
• Fixed irrigation problems
  … and more. They consistently go above and beyond to support residents and keep Mijas La Nueva safe and pleasant for all.
