MAINTENANCE UPDATE JUNE 2026

Here’s your latest update on what’s been happening around the urbanization this past month. Our goal, as always, is to keep Mijas La Nueva looking its best and functioning smoothly for everyone who calls it home. We also hope you enjoy some of the animal photos, that remind us every day that we're very close to nature.

Lower pool completion

We now have a repaired and beautiful lower pool - in no small measure thanks to the excellent work of the boys to bring it back in to shape in time for the summer season

Smart sun beds

And the boys have also taken time to thoroughly clean the sunbeds.

The tree and hedge work is as important as ever.

Dealing with leaks

Our aging infrastructure means we might have to deal with a leak at any moment. The boys are always quick to take corrective action.

Our dedicated maintenance team continues to respond swiftly to resident requests and unexpected issues. This month, they:

• Fix of faulty streetlights (a council matter)
• Safely removed a snake
• Repaired a water leak
• Fixed irrigation problems
  … and more. They consistently go above and beyond to support residents and keep Mijas La Nueva safe and pleasant for all.
