Here’s your latest update on what’s been happening around the urbanization this past month. Our goal, as always, is to keep Mijas La Nueva looking its best and functioning smoothly for everyone who calls it home. We also hope you enjoy some of the animal photos, that remind us every day that we're very close to nature.
The pools
We're slowly bringing the pools back to shape, but we have a job on our hands with the grass, so we're looking at some alternative solutions (e.g. different type of grass) that will provide more resilience for the heavy summer months.
Tree cuttings
We've had a handful of instances of excessive tree cutting, which overloads the basura areas, leaving the boys with a job on their hands (and extra costs) to clear things up. We kindly ask you to be considerate.
Wild boar
We're getting more and more sightings of wild boar on the urbanization as well as on the adjacent land. They can cause damage by unearthing garden areas as they search for the roots that they like to eat. We urge you to exercise caution and avoid leaving out food that could attract them.
