Here’s your latest update on what’s been happening around the urbanisation this past month. Our goal, as always, is to keep Mijas La Nueva looking its best and functioning smoothly for everyone who calls it home.

The pools

The pools have seen a lot of usage over the summer period, and so have suffered somewhat in the process, with some degradation and damage, in particular to the lawns. The maintenance team will be doing everything in their power to return the pool areas to their tip-top shape as fast a humanly possible.

Repair work on curbs and drain channels

The boys have been busy repairing some of the running water channels are run throughout the urbanization. It's important to keep these in good shape not only to avoid flooding, but also it's part of the general tidiness of the urb.

Clearing overgrown gullies that present a fire risk

We have had an exceptionally wet spring, which in turn led to massive growth of wild plants and overgrown grasses at the top end of the urb, overlooking the farmland with the orange grove. The before and after shots of the work the boys did to clear the gullies is quite impressive!

A furry friend

The boys discovered a furry friend doing his morning exercise in the lower pool! He was reunited with his owner later on in the day, having been taken by the boys to the local vet!

Quick response! Every time!

Our dedicated maintenance team continues to respond swiftly to resident requests and unexpected issues. This month, they:

  • Fix of faulty streetlights (a council matter)
  • Safely removed a snake
  • Repaired a water leak
  • Fixed irrigation problems
… and more. They consistently go above and beyond to support residents and keep Mijas La Nueva safe and pleasant for all.
