Here’s your latest update on what’s been happening around the urbanization this past month. Our goal, as always, is to keep Mijas La Nueva looking its best and functioning smoothly for everyone who calls it home. We also hope you enjoy some of the animal photos, that remind us every day that we're very close to nature.

Damage to historic tree

On the 4th of December we were saddened to report that one of the historic surviving olive trees from the fire in the early 2000s was today knocked down by a large truck with a crane. We cherish all of our natural resources, and aim to use our security cameras to trace the number plate of the offending truck

Isaac's baby

We are all delighted for Isaac to see this beautiful boy coming into the world :)

The boys are hanging out again

Keeping our beautiful trees in top shape doesn't happen by accident. They boys have to wear special gear to be able to reach to the top and all around the trees.

Extensive work to re-landscape the area around the lower pool

This is the time of the year for the kind of work that can only be done when it's cooler out. At the moment the boys are doing a lot to make the areas around the lower pool look are lot more landscaped.

Quick response! Every time!

  • Fix of faulty streetlights (a council matter)
  • Safely removed a snake
  • Repaired a water leak
  • Fixed irrigation problems
… and more. They consistently go above and beyond to support residents and keep Mijas La Nueva safe and pleasant for all.
